Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated QA Engineer to ensure the reliability, safety, and compliance of space-grade components and systems. The role involves overseeing quality processes across design, manufacturing, assembly, integration, and testing phases of spacecraft & subsystems such as avionics, power & Control systems, and payloads.
Key Responsibilities:
Quality Assurance (QA):
- Develop and implement quality plans, procedures, and standards (e.g., ISRO-PAS, ECSS, MIL-STD).
- Participate in design reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR) to ensure quality requirements are embedded.
- Conduct audits and process evaluations across vendors and internal teams.
- Ensure traceability and configuration control of components and documentation & Version control of Designs as well as documents.
- Support risk management and failure mode analysis (FMEA, FTA).
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelorโs or Masterโs degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
- 2-3 years of experience in QA roles, preferably in aerospace or space systems.
- Familiarity with standards like ECSS, ISRO-PAS, MIL-STD-883, IPC-A-610.
- Hands-on experience with inspection tools, test benches, and environmental chambers.
- Strong documentation, analytical, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with satellite subsystems (e.g., Reaction Wheel, Battery, EPS, CDH).
- Experience with satellite Assembly & Integration QA.
- Knowledge of reliability engineering and statistical quality control.
- Exposure to cleanroom protocols and ESD-safe handling.
- Certification/knowledge in Six Sigma, AS9100, or ISO 9001 is a plus.
