Senior Analyst - Internal Audit Wholesale Banking - 3+ Years - Remote
We are hiring a
Senior Analyst
with
3+ years of mandatory experience in Internal Audit within Wholesale Banking / Wholesale Credit Risk
. Candidates must have hands-on exposure to
Credit Risk Review or QA
. This is a
client-facing, remote role
. Professionals from
public/private or MNC banks
may apply.
CA or MBA (Finance) is mandatory
.
Location – Remote (Bangalore, Pune, Mumbai, Chennai, Gurgaon)

Responsibilities:
Support the
Internal Audit function
in Wholesale Banking by applying strong
credit domain, sector knowledge, and understanding of bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
.
Plan and execute
monthly and quarterly Internal Audit assignments
, ensuring comprehensive coverage of
credit appraisal, approval, disbursement, monitoring, and portfolio governance
processes.
Develop and enhance
Internal Audit frameworks, audit programs, test scripts, and working papers
across
Wholesale Banking portfolios
including Corporates, Leveraged Finance, Real Estate, Private Equity, Hedge Funds, SPVs, and Special Assets.
Conduct
end-to-end Internal Audits
, assessing
process effectiveness, policy compliance, documentation adequacy, data accuracy, and control gaps
, and provide clear audit observations and actionable recommendations.
Prepare
Internal Audit reports
, present findings to stakeholders, track
closure of audit issues
, and continuously update audit methodologies in line with
regulatory guidelines and internal policies
.
Requirements:
3+ years of relevant experience in Internal Audit within Wholesale Banking
, with exposure to
credit processes, audit testing, and control assessment
across wholesale portfolios.
CA or MBA (Finance) is mandatory
.
Strong understanding of
internal audit frameworks, regulatory guidelines, and internal control standards
applicable to
Wholesale Banking
.
Proven expertise in
financial statement analysis, credit file review, policy compliance testing, and audit-based risk assessment
, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent
communication and stakeholder management skills
, along with advanced proficiency in
MS Excel and audit / risk evaluation tools
.
