SUMMARY
We are looking for an experienced
HR and Recruitment Specialist
to lead end-to-end recruitment for technical roles while ensuring hiring practices align with Indian labor laws and HR compliance standards. This role will partner closely with business leaders to attract high-quality engineering and technology talent across India, while also serving as a knowledgeable resource on employment regulations, hiring compliance, and HR best practices.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Technical Recruitment
Lead full-cycle recruitment for technical positions including software engineering, data, infrastructure, and product-focused roles.
Work closely with hiring managers to translate technical requirements into clear hiring strategies and sourcing plans.
Identify and engage high-quality candidates through direct sourcing, professional networks, talent communities, and referrals.
Conduct structured candidate evaluations that assess technical capability, problem-solving ability, and team fit.
Manage the full interview lifecycleโfrom initial outreach through offer negotiation and acceptance.
Build and maintain long-term talent pipelines for recurring technical roles.
HR Compliance & Labor Law Support
Ensure hiring practices comply with Indian labor laws and employment regulations.
Support HR and leadership teams with guidance on employment contracts, statutory compliance, and hiring policies.
Stay updated on relevant labor legislation affecting hiring and employment in India.
Assist with documentation and compliance requirements related to onboarding and employment.
Partner with HR teams to ensure proper adherence to local employment standards and regulatory requirements.
Stakeholder & Candidate Management
Act as a trusted partner to hiring managers by providing market insights, compensation benchmarking, and hiring strategy recommendations.
Deliver an exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
Collaborate with HR, People Operations, and leadership to support scalable hiring processes.
Maintain accurate candidate records and recruitment documentation within the ATS.
QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years of recruitment experience, with significant exposure to technical hiring.
Solid understanding of Indian labor laws, HR compliance, and employment regulations.
Proven ability to source and hire for engineering and technical roles.
Experience working with ATS platforms and sourcing tools.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple roles simultaneously.
