SAP Integration Consultant (CPI / BTP)

Role:

Responsible for the daily operational health, performance, and stability of integration scenarios within the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). The primary goal is to ensure seamless data flow between SAP and non-SAP systems, proactive incident management, and performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities: Proactive Monitoring:

Monitor integration flows (iFlows) using the SAP CPI Monitoring Dashboard, Message Processing Logs (MPL), and external monitoring tools. Incident Management & Troubleshooting:

Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for failed messages, technical failures, and data mapping errors. Support Activities:

Handle daily support requests, incidents, and problem tickets related to CPI interfaces (e.g., SOAP, REST, IDoc, SFTP, OData, JDBC). Performance Optimization:

Analyse and optimize existing iFlows for performance, scalability, and efficiency. Data & Error Analysis:

Deep dive into message logs to identify payload issues, tracing, and log analysis. Bug Fixes & Enhancements:

Implement minor bug fixes, code changes, and configuration adjustments to existing interfaces. Collaboration:

Coordinate with functional teams (e.g., SuccessFactors, S/4HANA), BASIS, security, and external vendors to resolve issues. Documentation:

Maintain up-to-date technical documentation, runbooks, and interface inventory. Security Management:

Ensure compliance with security standards, including certificate management and OAuth.

Educational Qualifications: Graduate in Computer Science.

Experience: 2-5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP CPI/Integration Suite monitoring and support.

Competencies: Strong understanding of CPI runtime, adapters (SFTP,

OData, SOAP, IDoc, SuccessFactors), and monitoring tools. Proficiency in troubleshooting using Message Processing Logs (MPL) and debugging techniques. Basic knowledge of Groovy scripts, Java, XSLT, and Mapping Techniques. Understanding of SAP Cloud Connector and security artifacts (SSL certificates).
