Job Summary:

As a Process Engineer in the Technology Transfer team, you will play a crucial role in commercializing new molecules. Your responsibilities include integrating new technologies from R&D, ensuring industrial-scale feasibility, and participating in lab demos and pilot trials. You will help identify process hazards, create material and energy balances, and establish performance norms. Additionally, you will assist in developing conceptual designs, implementing engineering modifications, and supporting process commissioning with cross-functional teams

Job Responsibilities: 1. Technology Integration Receive and integrate new process technologies from R&D. Ensure feasibility of processes for industrial-scale implementation.

2. Process Analysis & Optimization Observe lab demonstrations to understand processes and collect data for pilot trials. Suggest and validate deviation parameters for industrial-scale systems. Establish lab-scale performance norms and prepare material & energy balances.

3. Pilot Trials & Scale-Up Map process steps in pilot systems with the operations team. Monitor pilot plant trials and generate process parameters. Lead troubleshooting during pilot trials with R&D and operations teams. Demonstrate and define process performance at pilot scale. Conduct engineering studies to generate scale-up data.

4. Design & Engineering Develop conceptual designs for plant-scale operations. Share designs with cross-functional teams and incorporate feedback. Implement necessary engineering modifications to ensure process performance.

5. Safety & Risk Management Identify process hazards and define safeguards for catastrophic risks. Lead hazard identification activities and participate in PHA studies as a process expert.

6. Commissioning & Handover Lead process commissioning activities with cross-functional teams. Troubleshoot during commissioning and address performance gaps. Prepare commissioning reports and formally hand over the process to operations

The Person: Educational Qualifications & Work Experience:

BE/B. Tech. in Chemical Engineering with 9-12 years of experience in Process Engineering of specialty chemicals, agrochemicals fields.

Other Skills: Knowledge on Tech. transfer, process safety aspects & implementation of it in conceptual design stage itself. Good knowledge on Process Equipment design & its troubleshooting
