Program Executive – Advocacy, Networking & Liaising

will lead Aajeevika Bureau’s efforts to strengthen labor rights and worker welfare through policy engagement, partnerships, and public advocacy. The role involves working closely with government institutions, legal experts, civil society, and worker groups to influence systems that improve workers’ access to social security, housing, justice, and occupational safety. Key Responsibilities Advocacy & Policy Work Develop and implement advocacy plans on social protection, health and safety, and housing for informal and migrant workers. Use field insights and data to inform campaigns and policy recommendations. Prepare briefs, submissions, and communication material for external advocacy. Partnerships & Networking Build strong networks with worker groups, trade unions, and civil society organizations. Facilitate joint initiatives and collaborative dialogues on worker welfare and rights. Government & Stakeholder Engagement Liaise with key departments such as Labor, ESIC, Factory & Boiler, SJE, and Health to promote better access and accountability. Engage with policymakers, legal experts, and media partners to advance worker-related issues. Representation & Communication Represent Aajeevika Bureau in alliances, consultations, and forums at state and national levels. Contribute to public communication and media engagement to highlight worker voices and policy needs. Team & Community Linkages Support team members in integrating advocacy into ongoing programs. Stay closely connected with worker communities to ensure their experiences shape advocacy priorities. Documentation & Learning Document key learnings, policy developments, and case stories. Use evidence and field data to strengthen campaigns and inform strategy. Reporting and documentation as per requirement. Qualifications and Experience Postgraduate degree in Social Work, Sociology, Development Studies, Legal Policy, Public Policy, or a related field. 2-3 years of experience

in rights-based work, labour rights, advocacy Strong experience engaging with government systems and civil society networks . Understanding of labor, migration, and informal economy issues. Excellent communication, coordination, and writing skills. Fluency in English and Hindi (regional language skills are an asset). Willingness to travel and work with flexibility as per program needs. Prior work experience or background in Indore/Madhya Pradesh will be an advantage. Remuneration Compensation will be
