About the Role Hirebrick is seeking a Data Engineer with 2–3 years of experience to help design, build, and maintain scalable, cloud-based data pipelines and analytics platforms. This fully remote role (India) is ideal for engineers who enjoy working with modern data technologies and want to grow their careers in production-grade environments.

Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain batch and near real-time ETL pipelines using Python, SQL, PySpark, and Airflow Build and support data ingestion from APIs, databases, and streaming sources Assist in developing and maintaining data warehouses and Lakehouse architectures on AWS, Azure, or Snowflake Collaborate with analytics and data science teams to deliver clean, reliable datasets Implement data quality checks, validation rules, and monitoring alerts Optimize Spark jobs for performance and stability under guidance from senior engineers Follow best practices for version control, CI/CD, and technical documentation

Required Qualifications 2–3 years of hands-on experience in data engineering or a related role Strong working knowledge of Python and SQL Experience with AWS or Azure cloud platforms Familiarity with Spark, Airflow, Glue, or similar ETL tools Understanding of data warehousing and ETL fundamentals Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases
