JOB VACANCY: PRODUCTION MANAGER – MULTI UNIT OPERATIONS

Position: Production Manager – Multi Unit Handling

Experience Required: Minimum 5 Years in Food Manufacturing Industry

Products: Peanut Butter (All Variants), Rice Cakes, Oats & Muesli

Location: Multiple Plant Operations

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Overall responsibility for end-to-end production operations across multiple manufacturing units.

• Planning and execution of daily, weekly and monthly production schedules for Peanut Butter, Rice Cakes, Oats & Muesli.

• Ensure achievement of production targets with optimum manpower utilization and minimal wastage.

• Implement and monitor GMP, HACCP, ISO 22000 / FSSC 22000 compliance in all units.

• Monitor OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

• Coordinate with Quality department for in-process and finished goods quality control.

• Inventory and raw material planning in coordination with Stores and Supply Chain teams.

• Machine maintenance coordination with Engineering & Maintenance department to reduce downtime.

• Cost control initiatives including yield improvement and process optimization.

• Lead manpower planning, shift allocation and performance monitoring of supervisors and operators.

• Ensure safety compliance and conduct regular safety audits.

• Handle internal and external audits including BRC, ISO and customer audits.

• New product trials coordination with R&D; department.

• Prepare daily MIS reports and production performance dashboards for management review.

• Drive automation and process standardization initiatives across plants.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Food Technology, Food Engineering or related field.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in food manufacturing, preferably multi-product handling.

• Strong knowledge of Peanut Butter processing, Cereal/Oats processing and Rice Cake production lines.

• Hands-on experience in production planning, manpower management and yield optimization.

• Knowledge of ERP systems and production reporting tools.

• Strong leadership, problem-solving and decision-making skills.

• Excellent communication and cross-functional coordination abilities.
