Domain Consultant (Climate Risk) Location_ Pan India Exp- 5-20 yrs

Mandatory Skill(s)

Master's degree in Banking, science, commerce or Information Technology. Demonstrates understanding of climate change risks, including knowledge of both physical and transition risks. Demonstrates interest in climate change risk analysis and risk management, as well as interest in broader ESG topics. 5+ years of experience in Climate related engagements Strong experience in business Advisory, business requirements gathering, analysis and documentations like BRD, FRD, user stories & use cases Able to take the lead during initiation phase of projects, working closely with business leads. Understanding of regulatory reporting guidelines regarding climate change risk and ESG. Ability to engage with business clients and IT staff. Experience working in Agile methodology; Strong communicator with presentation and advisory skills; Effective interpersonal / communication skills to interact with people at all levels.

Desirable Skills

Demonstrates some abilities and/or a proven record of success in modeling (climate or financial modeling) Prior experience with in-house application/ third party product implementation Demonstrating proven data visualization skills using business intelligence tools. Demonstrating knowledge of commonly used climate change scenarios, including IPCC, NGFS and IEA; and, Demonstrating knowledge of GHG quantification, net zero modeling and SBTi. To work under Agile project framework and use of JIRA software for writing Epics/stories To write test cases, test defect management, good documentation standards under Agile with test evidence and audited sign offs Having qualification & certifications like PRM, FRM, SCR etc.,

Experience 5+ years

Responsibilities Work closely with business users to gather, understand, analyze business requirements, and prepare the business requirement document / functional specifications document Responsible for collating the business requirements, testing, production deployment and training to ensure end to end delivery of the project; Responsible to plan the test scenarios, perform pre-UAT sanity checks and co-ordinate with business users to perform the UAT; Responsible to conduct the training and maintain the business-related documentation (e.g. user guides, FAQ’s); Work closely with project/technology team to ensure that users requirements and requests are delivered timely, accurately and successfully.
