As

Lead – Happiness , you will serve as a strategic business partner responsible for the entire employee lifecycle. You'll lead the People Function with a strong focus on scaling a high-performance Sales Organisation and a technically robust Engineering/Projects Team. Reporting directly to the VP – Operations, you will design and implement HR policies, drive culture, and build systems that attract, retain, and develop top talent all within a fast-moving Audio Visual technology company with 18+ years in the industry.

This role demands an independent operator who thrives on implementing new ideas, restructuring for efficiency, and driving organisational performance without constant supervision.

What You'll Do: • Own end-to-end Talent Acquisition — full-cycle hiring, niche technical sourcing, campus recruitment, and onboarding • Design and execute Performance Management strategies with data-driven HR metrics • Architect Compensation & Benefits frameworks including variable pay, sales incentives, and market benchmarking • Drive Employee Engagement, retention programmes, and succession planning • Lead Learning & Development — skill mapping, training, coaching, and competency enhancement • Serve as SPOC for Culture, Employee Relations & Grievance Redressal • Ensure 100% Legal & Statutory Compliance — labour law, EHS, housing, transport, insurance • Develop, review, and refresh HR Policies on health, safety, benefits, and workplace standards • Supervise the HR team and participate in Leadership & External Meetings • Champion Change Management and improve HR systems and organisational efficiency

What We're Looking For: • MBA in Human Resources from a reputed institution • 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience • Proven track record of building and scaling Sales and Engineering/Technical teams • Deep expertise in Indian labour law and statutory compliances • Strong negotiation, conflict resolution, and counselling skills • Excellent written and verbal communication • Advanced proficiency with ERP systems and MS Office • Research-oriented with strong analytical and critical thinking skills • Stress tolerance, deadline management, and sound decision-making ability • High integrity with strong documentation and confidentiality standards

Nice to Have: Human Behaviour/Psychology, Organisational Development HR Analytics, EHS Management AV/Technology Industry Experience
