Role Description:
We are looking for an ambitious, tech-savvy
Business Development Associate
to join our growth team. This is a high-energy role focused on the front end of the sales cycle. You will be responsible for identifying potential clients, initiating first contact through cold and warm outreach, and qualifying opportunities for our senior team. This is a perfect role for a fresh graduate or someone with 1–2 years of experience who wants to build a career in technology sales and consulting.
What does your day look like?
Lead Generation & Prospecting:
Proactively identify and research \"cold\" companies that fit our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP).
Outbound Outreach:
Execute high-volume \"Cold Calling\" and email sequences to introduce our technology solutions.
Lead Management:
Effectively manage \"Warm Leads\" (marketing inquiries) and \"Hot Leads\" (high-intent prospects) to ensure rapid response times.
Tier 1 Demos:
Conduct initial discovery calls and \"Tier 1\" product demonstrations to showcase core value propositions.
Meeting Coordination:
Schedule and coordinate follow-up meetings between qualified prospects and senior consultants/account executives.
CRM Hygiene:
Maintain 100% accurate records of all activities, calls, and lead statuses in our CRM.
Performance Indicators (KPI's)
Your success will be measured by:
Daily Activity:
Minimum of 75 cold calls and 50 personalized emails per day.
Lead Conversion:
Percentage of cold/warm leads converted into \"Sales Qualified Leads\" (SQLs).
Meeting Target:
A monthly target of 50 successful Tier 1 demos or discovery meetings booked.
Sales Contribution:
Annual/Quarterly revenue targets based on the deals closed from your generated pipeline.
Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related technical field.
Experience:
0–2 years in sales, telemarketing, or a customer-facing role (Technology sector preferred).
Communication:
Exceptional verbal and written communication; ability to explain complex tech in simple terms.
Persistence:
A \"hunter\" mindset with the resilience to handle objections and high-volume calling.
Tech Literacy:
Quick learner for CRM tools, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and various software platforms.
Compensation & Benefits
Fixed Monthly Stipend:
A stable base salary to cover professional expenses and provide financial security.
Performance Commission:
Commission based on:
Meetings/Demos successfully booked.
Percentage of total contract value for deals closed from your leads.
Training:
Comprehensive onboarding on our technology stack and B2B sales methodologies.
Reporting : This role directly reports to the CMO
