Job Summary
A Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a strategic partner to the CEO, responsible for driving financial growth, managing capital structure, and guiding the company through scaling, fundraising, or M&A activities. This role will focus heavily on metrics like ARR (Annual Recurring Revenue), CAC (Customer Acquisition Cost), LTV (Lifetime Value), and churn, while managing fund raise, rapid growth and high-burn scenarios.

- Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) growth
- Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) and Lifetime Value (LTV)
- Burn Rate and Cash Runway
- Gross Margins
- Net Dollar Retention (NDR)
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning & Growth: Partner with the executive team to shape long-term business strategy, org PNL, fund and finance control, compliances, audits and business models.
- Fundraising & Investor Relations: Lead equity/debt fundraising efforts, manage investor relations, and prepare for IPO or M&A activities.
- FP&A and Metrics Optimization: Oversee forecasting, budgeting, and financial modeling
(ARR, CAC, LTV, Burn Rate, Churn).
- Cash Flow & Capital Management: Monitor and optimize liquidity, working capital, and investment strategies to ensure financial sustainability.
- Financial Reporting & Compliance: Ensure compliance with tax regulations and internal controls.
- Team Leadership: Build and mentor a high-performing finance, accounting, and legal team.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize advanced analytics and AI-driven tools to derive insights from operational and financial data.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years in senior financial leadership, with proven success in fast-growth, startups, B2B, D2C, e-commerce or SaaS firms.
- Education: Bachelor’s /Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA, CPA, or CFA is highly preferred.
- Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of SaaS business models, financial modeling, and experience with ERP systems.
- Leadership & Communication: Ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders, investors, and the board.
- Strategic Mindset: Proven ability to influence operational decisions and drive profitability.
