Operations Analyst

About the Role

We are looking for a highly analytical and business-focused Ops Analyst who can take ownership of data reporting, dashboard creation, and deep business analysis. The ideal candidate should not only analyze data but also translate findings into actionable insights, identify growth opportunities, highlight inefficiencies, and recommend solutions that drive measurable improvements.

This role is ideal for someone who has worked in mobility platforms, ride-hailing, logistics, fleet management, food-tech, delivery platforms, or on-demand operations, and understands operational metrics and real-time business performance monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

Dashboarding & Reporting

- Build and maintain automated dashboards for key business metrics (daily/weekly/monthly) - Develop executive-level dashboards for leadership visibility and decision-making - Track business KPIs such as demand, supply, fulfillment, driver utilization, cancellations, SLA, and retention - Create automated reporting systems to reduce manual reporting dependency

Data Analysis & Business Insights

- Analyze trends, anomalies, and business performance issues using structured data - Identify operational bottlenecks and recommend actionable improvements - Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for issues such as drop in supply, high cancellations, reduced conversion, etc - Provide insights and recommendations on growth opportunities and efficiency improvements.

Business Problem Solving

- Develop frameworks for measuring performance and operational health. - Design experiments / A-B testing approaches where needed. - Forecast demand/supply and provide insights for resource planning. - Perform cohort analysis, funnel analysis, retention analysis, and customer/partner segmentation.

Stakeholder Collaboration

- Act as a bridge between business teams and technical teams. - Present insights to leadership in a clear and impactful manner. - Support decision-making with data-backed insights, storytelling, and visualization.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 4+ years of experience as a Data Analyst / Business Analyst / Product Analyst - Experience working in Mobility, Food-Tech, Delivery, Logistics, Fleet Management, Ride-Hailing, or Marketplace businesses - Strong expertise in SQL (must-have) for data extraction and analysis - Strong hands-on experience with dashboarding tools such as: - Power BI / Metabase / Google Data Studio - Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills (pivot tables, complex formulas, automation) - Strong understanding of business metrics, KPI definitions, and performance monitoring - Ability to convert raw data into insights, narratives, and business recommendations - Good knowledge of statistical methods and analytical concepts (trend analysis, hypothesis testing, correlations, etc.)
