Azure Data Engineer

About Position:

We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer with strong expertise in Python, SQL Server, and cloud‑based ETL/ELT development. The role focuses on building scalable data pipelines, implementing data quality frameworks, and preparing high‑quality datasets for GenAI, LLMs, and ML models. The ideal candidate will collaborate with AI, Data Science, and Product teams to support feature engineering, automation, and secure data processing. Experience with data warehousing, large datasets, and cloud platforms like Azure or Databricks is essential. Exposure to Spark, Big Data technologies, and CI/CD practices is an added advantage.

What You'll Do:

- Develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Python and SQL Server. - Build and maintain data quality checks, validation rules, and monitoring frameworks. - Prepare high‑quality, training‑ready datasets for GenAI, LLMs, and ML model development. - Support feature extraction and collaborate closely with Data Science and Defensive AI teams. - Develop and manage cloud‑based data pipelines across Azure, Databricks, and Big Data platforms. - Ensure secure and compliant data processing aligned with enterprise governance standards. - Work with cross‑functional teams (AI, Data Science, Product) to finalize datasets and drive automation initiatives.

Expertise You'll Bring:

- Strong Python programming skills for ETL, data processing, and automation. - Expertise in SQL / SQL Server with strong querying, optimization, and data modeling skills. - Experience in data modeling, data warehousing, and cloud‑based ETL/ELT frameworks. - Practical experience preparing datasets for GenAI/LLM use cases.
