Job Description

We are looking for a German teacher who is passionate about the German language and culture and who is able to share that passion with students. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of the German language and be able to effectively communicate with students of all levels. He or she will be responsible for planning and teaching German classes, as well as developing curriculum and assessment tools. The German teacher will also be responsible for maintaining a positive and supportive learning environment in the classroom. Duties & Responsibilities Develop and deliver engaging German language lessons to students of all levels Plan, prepare, and execute German language learning activities in line with curriculum requirements Evaluate student progress and provide feedback to help them improve their language skills Maintain up-to-date records of student performance and development Stay abreast of new developments in the field of German language teaching Attend professional development workshops and conferences to enhance your teaching skills Develop positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues Participate in extracurricular activities related to German language and culture Serve as a mentor to new German teachers Collaborate with other members of the German department to develop innovative teaching methods Organize cultural events and trips for students Perform administrative tasks such as ordering supplies and maintaining attendance records Required Skills and Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in German, education, or related field Native-level fluency in German 3+ years experience teaching German to students of all ages Excellent organizational skills and ability to develop lesson plans Strong classroom management skills Ability to use technology in the classroom
