Role Objective
We are looking for a senior Digital Strategist who will build, lead and scale the entire digital function for the agency. This is a strategic + leadership role, not just execution. The person will define digital vision, build the team, create frameworks, and drive measurable business growth for clients across platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Strategy & Planning
Own end-to-end digital strategy for multiple brands across categories (lifestyle, hospitality, luxury, FMCG, services etc.)
Create integrated digital roadmaps covering:
Social Media Strategy
Performance Marketing (Meta, Google, YouTube, marketplaces)
Content strategy & distribution
Influencer & creator ecosystem (if applicable)
Translate brand objectives into measurable digital KPIs (leads, sales, engagement, growth, ROI)
Define digital GTM strategies for new brands and launches
Team Setup & Leadership
Build the digital team ground-up:
Performance marketers
Social media managers
Media buyers
Content & community managers
Analytics & reporting support
Set up roles, KRAs, workflows, SOPs and performance metrics
Mentor and upskill junior and mid-level team members
Create a high-performance culture with accountability
Performance Marketing & Growth
Own paid media strategy across Meta, Google, YouTube, marketplaces, and emerging platforms
Plan budgets, CAC, ROAS targets, funnels and conversion journeys
Guide the team on:
Campaign structures
A/B testing
Funnel optimisation
Lead nurturing & remarketing
Drive growth frameworks for e-commerce and lead-generation brands
Client & Business Partnership
Act as the digital growth partner for key clients
Present strategies, reports, and roadmaps to CXOs and brand heads
Translate business goals into scalable digital programs
Help the agency pitch for new digital mandates
Support revenue growth through retainer expansion and performance-based scopes
Systems, Tools & Processes
Set up dashboards, reporting formats, performance reviews
Define tech stack for digital (analytics, automation, CRM, performance tools)
Ensure cross-functional alignment with:
Brand strategy
Creative
Content
Influencer teams
Education
Preferred:
* MBA in Marketing / Digital Marketing / Brand Management
* BBA / BMS with strong digital marketing specialization
* Certification in Performance Marketing, Growth Marketing, or Digital Strategy is a bonus
Important Note: Education is secondary. What matters more is hands-on digital leadership experience and proven growth outcomes.
Background
Look for candidates who come from:
* Mid-size to large Digital Marketing Agencies / Ad Agencies
* Growth roles in D2C / e-commerce brands / startups
* Performance-led organisations (fintech, edtech, marketplaces, consumer brands)
Ideal profile exposure:
* Has worked on both brand building + performance marketing
* Has handled multi-client environments
* Has experience working with founders / CXOs
* Has scaled digital teams or verticals earlier
Experience
Must-Have:
* 8–10 years of hands-on digital experience
* Has built or scaled a digital function or department
* Has managed teams of at least 5–12 people
* Strong exposure to:
* Meta & Google Ads
* Performance funnels
* Content + media planning
* ROI-driven marketing
* Has handled monthly budgets (₹10L+ ideally across brands)
Nice-to-Have:
* Experience setting up digital teams from scratch
* Has worked on brand launches or turnarounds
* Has worked with luxury / lifestyle / hospitality / premium brands
* Experience in pitching digital mandates to clients

Reporting To
- You will report to Business Head of the respective Vertical
Reporting Office
- You will be based at our EBG Group Office at Hitec City area, Hyderabad, Working days Monday to Saturday. Timings 10 am to 7pm.
Salary Package
- Your Salary package range is 15 LPA to 18 LPA
