Junior Accountant

Role Description: We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a vital role in managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, oversee financial transactions, and actively contribute to maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the company’s financial operations.

Key Responsibilities: Managing day-to-day transactions through banks and maintaining payments. Managing and recording bills and expenses. Managing vendor payments, ensuring timely clearance of pending payments. Assisting in preparing and filing GST returns, ensuring timely payments and maintaining records. Calculating and deducting TDS, preparing and filing TDS returns. Processing salaries, maintaining payrolls, and handling ESIC, EPF, and Professional Tax. Preparing customer invoices, following up on outstanding payments, and maintaining records of receivables. Preparing and maintaining monthly and yearly financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements. Assisting in income tax return preparation and filing. Creating monthly and yearly budgets, tracking expenses against the budget, and providing financial forecasts. Monitoring cash inflows and outflows to ensure liquidity. Maintaining records of company assets and performing monthly Audits. Managing Recurring Payments. Maintaining monthly bank reconciliations. Managing accounting software and posting transactions to journals, ledgers, and other records. Evaluating daily balances. Preparing payment vouchers and maintaining detailed expense reports. Supporting month-end and year-end close processes. Maintaining Financial and non Financial Documents. Conducting financial analysis and providing insights for decision-making. Collaborating with other departments to ensure financial data and reporting accuracy. Ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and guidelines. Staying updated with industry trends and best practices in accounting.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce (B.Com/M.Com) or related field. 0–2 years of experience in accounting, finance, or internship roles. Basic knowledge of accounting principles, GST, TDS, and financial regulations. Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with accounting software (Zoho Books) preferred. Strong numerical accuracy, documentation, and organizational skills. Good communication skills and the ability to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
