Role: SAP BASIS Consultant – Greenfield Implementation Location: Gurugram, Haryana Experience: 8–10 Years

Required Qualifications Education Graduate/Postgraduate in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent Certifications (Preferred) SAP BASIS / SAP S/4HANA System Administration Certification SAP HANA Administration Certification – Good to have SAP BTP / Cloud Administration – Good to have

Role Summary Lead and manage SAP BASIS activities for SAP S/4HANA Greenfield implementations, ensuring a stable system landscape, high availability, security compliance, performance optimization, and seamless go-live operations across on-premise and/or cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities Lead SAP BASIS activities for SAP S/4HANA Greenfield implementation projects Design, install, configure, and administer SAP S/4HANA systems (Sandbox, DEV, QAS, PRD) Perform system setup including client strategy, transport management (STMS), and system refreshes Manage SAP kernel upgrades, Support Pack Stack (SPAM), and SNOTE implementations Handle system monitoring, performance tuning, background jobs, and spool administration Manage SAP user administration, roles, authorizations, and security concepts Coordinate SAP transport management, cutover planning, and go-live activities Support integrations from BASIS perspective (RFC, IDoc, CPI/BTP connectivity) Manage backups, restores, disaster recovery strategy, and high availability setup Support UAT, production support, hypercare, and ongoing system optimization

Technical Expertise Strong hands-on experience in SAP BASIS for S/4HANA environments Experience with SAP S/4HANA Greenfield implementations Good knowledge of SAP HANA DB administration (monitoring, backups, performance) Experience with OS and database connectivity Knowledge of SAP security, roles, authorizations, and audit compliance Exposure to SAP BTP connectivity, CPI technical setup, and certificate management Experience with Solution Manager (ChaRM, Monitoring) is an advantage

Soft Skills Strong coordination and communication skills with functional, technical, and infrastructure teams Ability to manage critical issues during cutover and go-live Experience mentoring junior BASIS consultants and handling vendors
