Experienced Accountant - Accounts iQ

We are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Accountant with strong experience in Accounts IQ to manage day-to-day accounting operations. This role is fully remote and aligned with Indian working hours, making it ideal for professionals experienced in handling structured accounting workflows independently.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end accounting activities using Accounts IQ - Maintain accurate general ledger entries and financial records - Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes - Assist in monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close - Perform bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations - Prepare financial reports and support management reporting - Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls - Coordinate with internal stakeholders for financial data and clarifications - Support audits and documentation requirements when needed

Required Qualifications & Skills

- 3–5 years of overall accounting experience - Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Accounts IQ (mandatory) - Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting - Experience with month-end close processes - Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting documentation - High attention to detail and accuracy - Ability to work independently in a remote setup - Strong time management and communication skills

Preferred Experience

- Prior experience working in a remote or distributed team - Exposure to international accounting processes (UK/EU accounting is a plus) - Experience working with cloud-based accounting systems
