Role Overview
The Executive – HR & Compliance will be responsible for supporting HR operations while ensuring statutory, labor law, and compliance adherence across locations. The role requires strong coordination skills, documentation accuracy, and hands-on experience in HR compliance and employee lifecycle management.
Key Accountability Areas
HR operations and employee lifecycle management
Statutory compliance and labor law adherence
Documentation, audit readiness, and record management
Coordination with internal teams, consultants, and authorities
Major Roles & Responsibilities
HR Operations
Manage employee onboarding, documentation, and exit formalities
Maintain employee personal files and HR records
Support payroll processing by sharing verified attendance, deductions, and compliance inputs
Handle employee queries related to HR policies, attendance, leave, and compliance
Assist in recruitment coordination and joining formalities
Compliance & Statutory
Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws (PF, ESIC, PT, CLRA, Shops & Establishment, Minimum Wages, etc.)
Coordinate with consultants for PF, ESIC, and statutory filings
Maintain statutory registers, returns, and compliance trackers
Support internal and external audits and inspections
Track license renewals, registrations, and statutory deadlines
Reporting & MIS
Prepare and maintain HR & compliance MIS reports
Track headcount, attrition, statutory status, and audit observations
Ensure timely submission of reports to Corporate / Management
Coordination & Governance
Coordinate with Operations, Finance, Legal, and Compliance teams
Ensure adherence to company policies, SOPs, and disciplinary procedures
Support implementation of HR initiatives and policy updates
Required Skills & Competencies
Working knowledge of
HR operations and statutory compliance
Familiarity with
PF, ESIC, CLRA, Shops Act, Minimum Wages
Proficiency in
MS Excel, Word, and MIS reporting
Strong documentation and follow-up skills
Good communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Accuracy and timeliness of HR & compliance documentation
Zero statutory non-compliance or penalties
Audit readiness and closure of observations
Effective coordination and issue resolution
Timely MIS reporting
