MS D365 F&O – Senior Technical Consultant Experience: 7–10 Years | Location: Remote | Type: Full-Time ROLE SUMMARY We are seeking a Senior Technical Consultant for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations with strong X++ development skills and a deep understanding of F&O architecture. You will be responsible for complex customisations, integrations, and technical delivery across multiple client engagements. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Develop and maintain X++ customisations, extensions, and CoE patterns across D365 F&O modules. • Design and implement integrations with third-party systems using Azure Logic Apps, Data Management Framework (DIXF), OData REST APIs, and Azure Service Bus. • Build and manage SSRS reports, Power BI Embedded reports, and financial statements within F&O. • Perform code reviews, maintain coding standards, and ensure alignment with Microsoft best practices (no-overlayering / extension-first approach). • Participate in technical architecture design, data modelling, and solution blueprinting for new implementations. • Support data migration using DIXF data packages, composite data entities, and recurring integrations. • Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues across environments (Dev, UAT, Prod) in LCS-managed projects. • Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical designs. • Manage ALM using Azure DevOps — branching, build pipelines, and deployment packages. • Provide L3 technical support, RCA documentation, and hotfix deployment for managed services clients. TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED • X++ development: classes, forms, tables, data contracts, RunBase/SysOperation framework, batch jobs • Integration: OData, DIXF, Azure Logic Apps, Service Bus, Power Automate, REST/SOAP web services • LCS, Azure DevOps, BYOD, and Dual-Write with Dataverse • SSRS, ER (Electronic Reporting), Power BI Embedded, and financial report designer • ISV installation, customisation, and compatibility management QUALIFICATIONS & CERTIFICATIONS • 7–10 years of D365 F&O / AX technical development experience across full project lifecycles • MB-300 (Core Finance & Operations) — required; MB-500 (Developer) — preferred • Strong knowledge of D365 F&O architecture, AOT, data entities, and extension framework • Experience with multi-module implementations across Finance, SCM, and Manufacturing • Bachelor's / Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering • Azure certifications (AZ-900/AZ-204) are an advantage • Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to work independently and in team settings
