Profile background We are pioneering the next generation of state-of-the-art marine robotic systems that serve both civil and defence sectors. From autonomous underwater vehicles to real-time sonar processing platforms; our work pushes the boundaries of what's possible beneath the surface. We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer with a strong foundation in C/ C++ (not Python, not web-frameworks) to join our growing engineering team.

What You'll do: > Develop high-performance, low-latency software for embedded and distributed systems > Contribute to mission-critical applications including navigation, autonomy, and signal processing > Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of experts in robotics, hardware, and underwater vision > Ship software that will operate in some of the most challenging environments on Earth

Responsibilities Writing clean, high-quality, and highly maintainable code Develop and support software including applications, database integration, interfaces, and new functionality enhancements Coordinate cross-functionally to insure project meets business objectives and compliance standards Support test and deployment of new products and features Participate in design, development, and testing with the underwater robots in the field - controlled waters and real-world conditions. Participate in code reviews

Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or related field) 1.5+ years minimum of relevant work experience Experience in developing end-to-end applications with C++ Experience with data structures, object orientated programming, parallel processing and inter process communication Good understanding of Bash, OS, and networking
