Job Title: Performance Data Analyst (Marketing)

About the Role
The Performance Data Analyst converts raw marketplace data into clear commercial decisions.
This is a fast-paced, execution-driven role where you will evaluate product viability, model margins, assess competition risk, and determine ROI potential.
Your work directly impacts purchasing decisions and revenue performance, requiring speed, precision, and strong commercial judgement.
Experience Required
1–2 years in analytical, ecommerce, marketplace, or data-heavy roles
Strong Excel / Google Sheets experience (mandatory)
Marketplace experience preferred but not mandatory
Demonstrated ability to learn new tools independently
Comfortable working with structured, repetitive analytical tasks
Training will be provided for Helium 10 / Jungle Scout. Learning speed is more important than prior marketplace exposure.
Responsibilities
Identify viable products using structured commercial criteria
Analyse marketplace data (Helium 10 / Jungle Scout)
Evaluate search volume, revenue estimates, competition density, review velocity, keyword gaps
Conduct structured competitor benchmarking
Identify margin opportunity vs risk
Build structured purchasing shortlists
Extract, clean and structure large datasets
Build commercial models including:
Fulfilment fees
Cost structures
Break-even analysis
ROI scenarios
Compare supplier pricing structures
Prepare structured listing data
Support bulk uploads
Clean and format Google Merchant Centre feeds (training provided)
Identify data inconsistencies and risk flags
Clearly explain commercial upside or downside
Performance Expectations
Throughput:
Analyse 20–30 products per day (light review)
Complete structured commercial model within 24 hours
Process 100 SKU dataset within 1–2 working days
Accuracy:
Error rate below 1%
No repeat logical mistakes
Structured, defensible calculations
Commercial Thinking:
Independently flag low margin
Identify saturated competition
Highlight review velocity risks
Detect poor ROI
Clearly explain product viability
