Performance Test Engineer - (5–10 Years)

About the Role: We are looking for an experienced Performance Test Engineer (5–10 years) who can lead, design, and execute performance testing strategies for large-scale, distributed systems.

Key Responsibilities: - Lead performance testing initiatives across multiple delivery teams while defining and upholding best practices. - Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, architects, and product stakeholders to gather performance requirements. - Design and drive performance testing strategies for complex services and systems. - Execute load, stress, spike, endurance, and scalability testing using tools such as JMeter or equivalent. - Perform root cause analysis of performance bottlenecks using system metrics. - Monitor/Analyze system behavior using Elastic Stack, Kibana. - Integrate performance testing into CI/CD with automated thresholds. - Communicate performance findings and risks to stakeholders. - Provide guidance on tool selection and performance frameworks. - Optional: Mentor or help build performance testing teams.

Required Skills: - Strong hands-on experience as a Performance Test Engineer. - Expertise in JMeter or similar tools. - Understanding of HTTP, REST, WebSocket. - Strong knowledge of performance metrics and KPIs. - Proficiency in Groovy, Shell, Java, JavaScript, Python. - Experience with AWS cloud and monitoring tools.

Nice to Have: - Experience mentoring teams. - Experience in test automation.
