Assistant Manager - Discrete Event Simulation

Title: Assistant Manager – Industrial Engineering & Discrete Event Simulation Location: Magarpatta, Pune

Overview: We are looking for an experienced Industrial Engineering professional with strong expertise in Discrete Event Simulation (DES) to drive optimization across manufacturing and warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities: Develop and validate DES models for manufacturing and warehouse processes (FlexSim preferred) Identify bottlenecks, improve throughput, and optimize capacity, layouts, and resource utilization Perform material flow and AGV simulations (BlueBotics exposure preferred) Support line balancing, capacity planning, and expansion projects Translate simulation outputs into clear business insights Integrate simulation results with Power BI dashboards Lead simulation projects, collaborate with plant teams, and mentor junior engineers

What We’re Looking For: 7–12 years of experience in Industrial Engineering & Discrete Event Simulation Strong hands-on experience with FlexSim / Plant Simulation or similar tools Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, MTM, ergonomics, and IE fundamentals Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
