Role Description
This is a full-time Accounts Manager role, based on-site at SHRIDHAR & ASSOCIATES CHARTERED ACCOUNTANTS in Ahmedabad. The Accounts Manager will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, managing client accounts, preparing and reviewing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Qualifications
Role Description
Responsibilities: Oversee end-to-end accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, journal entries, accounts payable and receivable, accruals, payroll processing, bank reconciliations, and preparation of Profit & Loss statements and Balance Sheets for corporate and other clients.
Prepare Management Information Systems (MIS), consolidation workings, and half-yearly and annual financial statements in compliance with Indian Accounting Standards and UK GAAP.
Coordinate closely with client management for day-to-day accounting activities and monthly book closures, ensuring accuracy, quality, and adherence to defined turnaround times.
Lead and supervise accounting teams by setting performance objectives, reviewing outputs, and providing ongoing training and mentorship.
Manage statutory audits end-to-end, including coordination with auditors and resolution of audit queries.
Serve as the primary point of contact for client communications, ensuring timely delivery of engagements while maintaining high-quality standards and service levels.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance requirements.
Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP and Xero.
Proven leadership capabilities with excellent communication, problem-solving, analytical, and client-facing skills.
Prior industry experience required; real estate experience preferred.
