Role Overview The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a Drupal PHP Web Application Developer, with strong hands-on expertise in Drupal 8 and 9. The role involves designing and implementing new features, guiding website architecture, ensuring performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of the CMS.
You will work closely with stakeholders to analyze requirements, build business-focused solutions, and integrate Drupal with external systems. The role also includes mentoring junior developers, contributing to architectural decisions, and ensuring adherence to Drupal best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement new features and functionalities while establishing and guiding overall website architecture.
Ensure high performance, scalability, and availability of Drupal-based platforms.
Develop custom Drupal modules and configure enterprise-level Drupal solutions.
Design and code service interfaces between Drupal and external systems.
Evaluate community solutions and create custom modules where required.
Perform technical analysis of new and existing systems and propose business-focused solutions.
Maintain and administer Drupal modules and sites following best practices.
Review and contribute to performance tuning and code optimization.
Test, support, and troubleshoot existing intranet and internet sites.
Write and maintain SQL queries for reporting and data extraction.
Contribute to effort estimation, work scheduling, and development planning.
Train and mentor junior team members in technologies and best practices.
Must-Haves
Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a Drupal PHP Web Application Developer.
Extensive experience in Drupal 8 and 9, including enterprise implementations.
Strong expertise in Drupal architecture, APIs, and custom module development.
Proven experience designing system architecture, prototypes, and proof of concepts.
Expertise in Drupal 9 theming from scratch or framework-based development using Twig, JavaScript/jQuery, Bootstrap 4, CSS/SCSS/SASS.
Strong PHP knowledge, including Drupal theme layer and theme functions.
Experience integrating open-source and third-party applications into Drupal sites.
Strong MySQL experience, including writing complex queries.
Deep understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive web design.
Experience in building dynamic and responsive web applications.
Strong understanding of web browsers, capabilities, and limitations.
Preferred / Nice to Have
Experience with NodeJS, ReactJS, Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS, or other modern front-end frameworks.
Knowledge of MS SQL Server.
Basic Linux operational command knowledge.
Experience with Git, SSO integrations, NPM, Composer, Drush, and Drupal APIs.
Experience with caching strategies, build and deployment processes, and Drupal best practices.
