Job Summary AB Stampings Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our Quality Assurance team. The selected candidate will be responsible for inspecting, testing, and measuring incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with company standards, customer specifications, and applicable industry norms. This role plays a critical part in maintaining product quality and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key ResponsibilitiesInspection & Testing Conduct visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of stamped components and assemblies. Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, plug gauges, CMM, etc. Perform First Article Inspections (FAI) and routine quality checks as per control plans.

Documentation Prepare and maintain inspection records, quality reports, non-conformance reports (NCR), and test results. Ensure proper adherence to SOPs, checklists, and work instructions.

Problem Identification & Reporting Identify defects, deviations, and non-conformances. Escalate quality concerns to supervisors and recommend corrective actions. Support Root Cause Analysis (RCA) through data collection and observations.

Process Support Collaborate with production teams to prevent defects and improve processes. Support Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) processes. Participate in internal audits and quality improvement initiatives.

Compliance Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and quality standards such as ISO 9001 and customer-specific systems. Follow company quality policies and procedures at all times.

Qualifications & SkillsRequired Diploma / ITI / Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Production, Industrial, Quality, or a related field. 1–3 years of experience in quality inspection (preferably in metal stamping, automotive, or manufacturing environments). Proficiency in the use of measurement tools and inspection techniques.

Preferred Knowledge of ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 standards. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and technical specifications. Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
