Freelance QA Engineer

Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain robust

automation frameworks using Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript) Write scalable, maintainable, and reusable automation scripts Perform

UI, API, and integration testing Build automation from scratch and improve existing frameworks Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams Integrate automated test suites into

CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.) Review test cases, provide technical guidance to junior QA members Ensure test coverage, quality metrics, and release readiness Participate in sprint planning, requirement analysis, and defect triage Required Skills 8+ years of experience in QA and Automation Testing Strong hands-on experience in

Playwright with JavaScript (mandatory) Proficiency in

TypeScript (important) Good working knowledge of

Java (important) Experience in automation framework design (from scratch) Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies API automation experience (REST APIs) Version control tools (Git) CI/CD integration experience Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
