Job Title: Chartered Accountant (CA) Role Overview

We’re looking for a Chartered Accountant who has solid experience handling large-scale financial operations (around €50M+ turnover), ideally in

engineering, MEP or project-based businesses . This role is not just about bookkeeping or reporting; we need someone who understands how project-based businesses work, can manage numbers across multiple ongoing projects, and is comfortable working directly with leadership in an international setup. You’ll be working remotely from India but aligned with

CET (Malta) time zone , so being comfortable with that is important.

What You’ll Be Doing

Managing end-to-end finance for

project-driven operations

●

Working closely on

project budgets, cost tracking, and profitability

●

Handling monthly, quarterly, and annual closures

●

Keeping a strong grip on

cash flow across multiple projects

●

Ensuring everything is aligned with

IFRS / international standards

●

Supporting audits, compliance, and taxation

●

Partnering with leadership on financial decisions and cost control

●

Setting up and improving financial processes and reporting

●

Coordinating with international teams and stakeholders

What We’re Looking For

●

CA qualified (must-have) from a reputed institution such as

ICAI (Institute of Chartered Accountants of India)

or equivalent international bodies (ACCA, CPA)

●

Around

5–10 years of experience

●

Background in:

○

MEP / building services

○

Construction /engineering /infrastructure

○

Or any

project-based business similar to AG Group

●

Hands-on experience with

project accounting, contract billing and cost tracking

●

Good understanding of

IFRS

●

Someone who has worked with

international clients or teams

●

Comfortable working independently in a remote setup

●

Strong communication and problem-solving skills

●

Willing to work in

CET (Malta) time zone

Good to Have

●

Experience with European companies or projects

●

Exposure to ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.

●

Experience handling multiple projects at the same time
