Frontend Engineer, Enterprise

About the role As a Frontend Engineer, Enterprise, you will design and build responsive, high-performance web experiences that bring Nucleus AI products to life for business users and technical teams. You’ll work on product surfaces where clarity, reliability, and usability matter deeply — from complex workflows and admin interfaces to developer-facing tools and configuration experiences. This role is ideal for someone who cares equally about product craftsmanship and technical rigor: someone who can build polished interfaces, reason through complex state and data flows, and collaborate closely with backend, design, and product teams to create intuitive enterprise experiences.

In this role, you will

Build responsive, performant web applications and UI systems for Nucleus’s enterprise products and developer workflows. Translate complex AI capabilities into clear, usable product experiences for business users, operators, and technical teams. Collaborate with product designers, backend engineers, and product managers to define and ship thoughtful user-facing features. Architect maintainable frontend systems, component libraries, and patterns that scale across products and teams. Optimize applications for speed, accessibility, reliability, and cross-browser compatibility. Work closely with backend and platform teams to integrate APIs, manage data-intensive workflows, and improve end-to-end product quality. Contribute to frontend standards, testing practices, and engineering quality across the organization. Help shape how enterprise customers interact with AI systems in production, with a strong focus on usability, trust, and clarity.

We’re looking for

Strong experience building modern frontend applications with JavaScript or TypeScript and frameworks such as React. Experience developing responsive, production-grade web UIs with strong attention to performance and usability. Solid understanding of frontend architecture, state management, API integration, and component-driven development. Good product judgment and the ability to simplify complex workflows into intuitive user experiences. Familiarity with design systems, accessibility standards, and cross-browser development. Experience working closely with designers and backend engineers in fast-moving product environments. Comfort debugging issues across the stack and improving product quality through testing and observability. A thoughtful, user-centered approach to building software for enterprise or developer-facing products.

Nice to have

Experience with enterprise SaaS products, admin platforms, or developer tools. Familiarity with data-rich interfaces, workflow builders, dashboards, or configuration-heavy products. Exposure to frontend performance optimization, analytics, or experimentation. Interest in AI products and the challenges of designing interfaces for intelligent systems.
