ROLE OBJECTIVES We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Civil Draftsman to support our bridge and heavy civil infrastructure projects. The role focuses on translating structural design intent into accurate, constructible drawings for site execution. You will work closely with experienced design engineers and gain hands-on exposure to complex bridge and steel structure detailing.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Prepare General Arrangement Drawings (GADs) and detailed construction drawings for bridges, box culverts, RCC and steel structures. Prepare detailed reinforcement drawings and structural detailing as per design intent. Prepare steel structure detailing and fabrication drawings (preferred). Incorporate design revisions and site-specific inputs in coordination with design engineers. Ensure all drawings comply with relevant IRC and IS standards and established detailing practices. Maintain drawing registers, revisions, and proper version control.

TECHNICAL QUANILIFICATIONS Education:

ITI Draftsman (Civil) / Diploma in Civil Engineering (or equivalent). Software Proficiency: Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (2D) – mandatory. Exposure to 3D/Revit is an added advantage. Domain Knowledge: Good understanding of RCC detailing for civil structures. Prior experience in drafting for bridges/infrastructure projects is preferred. Experience with steel structures and fabrication drawings is highly desirable.

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES Attention to Detail: Ability to produce accurate, well-organized construction drawings. Technical Understanding: Ability to interpret design intent and translate it into clear drawings. Coordination: Comfortable working with design engineers and responding to site queries. Ownership: Ability to manage assigned drawing packages with minimal supervision.
