We’re looking for a

Principal Scientist – DSP

who will own and lead downstream processing for recombinant food proteins — from purification strategy to pilot-scale validation and production deployment.

This is not a maintenance role. This is a

build-from-scratch, scale-with-speed, think and act-like-a-founder

role.

What you'll drive Architect and optimize end-to-end downstream processes for food-grade recombinant proteins Design scalable purification workflows (clarification, chromatography, membrane filtration, drying) Lead scale-up from bench to pilot and production trials Improve yield, purity, cost efficiency, and robustness Build and mentor a strong DSP team Collaborate cross-functionally with Upstream, Analytical, QA & Regulatory Translate experimental data into process decisions and platform strategy Contribute to IP, innovation, and long-term manufacturing roadmap

What We’re Looking For Ph.D. or Master’s (with significant experience) in Biochemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Food Engineering, or related discipline. 10+ years in protein purification / downstream bioprocessing Demonstrated scale-up experience (lab → pilot → plant) Strong expertise in chromatography & membrane processes Experience in recombinant proteins / food-grade manufacturing preferred Builder mindset. High ownership. Comfortable with ambiguity. Leadership with hands-on execution ability
