a Lead Data Scientist / Associate project Manager – Classical Machine Learning for one of our Data Science projects

About Role:

Experience – 8 to 12 years Location- Bangalore/Hyderabad/Chennai/Pune/Gurgaon Notice-

Candidates with a notice period of

15 days / 30 days

will be preferred, as we are looking to close this position at the earliest.

Key Responsibilities Lead classical ML/statistical projects from design to delivery. Collaborate with clients to understand requirements, manage expectations, and build trusted relationships. Create project plans, manage sprints, and track deliverables using Scrum/Jira. Provide technical leadership and mentor junior team members. Partner with cross-functional teams to address consumer industry challenges. Ensure timely delivery of solutions aligned with client objectives.

Required Skills & Experience Strong communication skills with proven ability to manage client relationships. Hands-on experience in statistical analysis and classical ML techniques. Background in client expectation management with demonstrated success in consulting environments. Experience in consumer industry preferred, with understanding of domain-specific challenges. Knowledge of Scrum/Jira to create project plans, manage sprints, and track deliverables.

Preferred Attributes Analytical mindset with problem-solving orientation. Ability to balance technical depth and leadership in client-facing roles. Proactive approach to managing ambiguity and driving clarity in projects.

Job requirements Looking for ML Engineer with Data Science background. Tech savvy, hands-on person with experience working on GCP (preferred) and/or Azure Should have experience with Spark, tuning pipeline, and ML aspects
