Job Summary We are seeking a highly experienced Power BI Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable, high-performance analytics solutions. This role focuses on developing advanced Power BI dashboards and reports, optimizing data models and performance, and enabling enterprise-wide analytics through reusable datasets and governed semantic models. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with data engineers and architects, ensure secure data access, and support analytics at scale with strong documentation and communication practices. ________________________________________ Key Skills • Power BI (Reports, Dashboards, Dataflows, Semantic Models) • DAX (Advanced calculations, optimization) • Power Query (M) • Data Modeling (Star & Snowflake schemas, tabular models) • Performance Optimization (Query folding, caching, indexing, tuning) • Data Integration (Multiple data sources) • Power BI Gateways & Incremental Refresh • Security (Row-Level Security, Object-Level Security) • ETL & Data Warehousing Concepts • Source Control & Deployment Pipelines • Troubleshooting & Performance Diagnostics • Documentation & Governance • Stakeholder Communication & Facilitation ________________________________________ Experience • 5+ years of hands-on experience working with Power BI • Proven experience designing enterprise-scale analytics architectures • Strong background in building complex dashboards and interactive visualizations • Experience managing reusable datasets, dataflows, and semantic models • Hands-on experience with performance tuning and optimization • Experience working closely with data engineers and cloud/data warehouse architectures • Exposure to automation, CI/CD, and deployment pipelines ________________________________________ Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field (preferred) • Strong understanding of data analytics architecture and best practices • Excellent communication, documentation, and facilitation skills • Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
