ROLE DESCRIPTION SRJ Piping is looking for an experienced MEP Coordinator who mainly has an expertise in Fire protection systems and Plumbing to plan, execute, and supervise plumbing and piping works across industrial, commercial, and infrastructure projects. The role requires strong site coordination, technical expertise, and execution capability. We are looking for a

highly experienced professional

who will act as the

bridge between clients, consultants, internal engineering teams, and execution teams . The role requires strong

presentation skills ,

technical understanding of fire protection systems , and

end-to-end project coordination

capabilities. This is a

senior, client-facing role , critical to winning, managing, and smoothly executing large fire protection projects.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED 10+ years

in

Fire Protection Systems / MEP / Industrial Projects

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Plan, design, and execute

Fire Protection and Plumbing & piping systems

(water supply, drainage, fire-fighting, utilities) Prepare

BOQs, drawings, and material take-offs Coordinate with

site engineers, consultants, architects, and clients Supervise site execution to ensure quality, safety, and timelines Manage contractors, vendors, and manpower on-site Ensure compliance with

IS codes, safety standards, and project specifications Inspect installations and conduct testing & commissioning Resolve site issues and provide technical solutions Prepare daily/weekly progress reports

Required skills and experience 10+ years of experience as a

Fire Protection and Plumbing / Piping Engineer Strong knowledge of

fire-fighting, Water supply, Drainage and Piping systems Ability to read and interpret

Construction & Fire Protection and Plumbing drawings Experience in

Industrial, commercial, or large residential projects Familiarity with

IS codes, CPWD norms, and safety practices Proficient in

AutoCAD (preferred)

and MS Office Strong coordination and problem-solving skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Degree in BE / BTech in Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering Experience in

EPC, infrastructure, or MEP contracting firms Exposure to

large-scale piping networks and pressure systems Leadership ability to handle multiple sites or teams Experience dealing with: Consultants PMC Government authorities Large developers / industrial clients
