Role Overview We are looking for a skilled WordPress Developer who can independently design, develop, manage, and optimize high-performing websites for clients across various industries.

This role requires strong technical expertise and an ownership mindset. You will handle WordPress projects end-to-end from setup and customization to deployment and ongoing maintenance.

Immediate joiners will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities • Own WordPress projects end-to-end, from setup to launch and ongoing maintenance • Develop, maintain, and optimize high-performance WordPress websites ensuring speed and responsiveness • Build custom themes and plugins as per project requirements • Design and implement front-end architecture with strong UI precision • Manage back-end development including database and server integration • Regularly update WordPress core, themes, and plugins ensuring websites remain stable and secure • Test updates before deployment and fix issues proactively • Identify, evaluate, and implement suitable plugins based on project requirements • Troubleshoot and debug issues independently • Handle website migrations, backups, and basic hosting-related tasks • Communicate clearly with internal teams and, when required, directly with clients • Conduct client walkthroughs and CMS training sessions • Take ownership of timelines and proactively flag risks or delays • Collaborate with designers and project leads for seamless execution

Required Skills & Experience • 1–3 years of experience working with WordPress • Proven experience as a WordPress Developer (Agency experience preferred) • Strong understanding of WordPress architecture, setup, theme customization, and plugin configuration • Experience with custom theme and plugin development • Working knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript • Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript • Ability to build and modify custom functionality within WordPress • Experience handling website maintenance, updates, and debugging • Basic understanding of website speed optimization and security best practices • Knowledge of debugging tools such as Chrome Inspector • Comfortable working independently in a remote setup and managing multiple websites • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
