Job Title: Senior QA Analyst - Zuora

Important Note - Zuora experience is mandatory for this role. Candidates without direct Zuora QA or Zuora Billing experience will not be considered.
Summary: We are looking for a Senior QA Analyst – Zuora with mandatory, hands-on experience in Zuora QA / Zuora Billing QA. This role requires deep expertise in manual testing of subscription billing systems, with a strong understanding of Zuora workflows, invoicing, payments, revenue recognition, and month-end close processes.
Zuora experience is a strict requirement. Candidates without prior Zuora experience should not apply.
The ideal candidate will own end-to-end QA for Zuora and integrated e-commerce workflows, work closely with Product, Engineering, and Finance teams, and help maintain high-quality billing and revenue systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and execute manual testing for Zuora subscription billing, including subscriptions, amendments, renewals, cancellations, bill runs, payment runs, and revenue events.
- Create, review, and execute detailed test cases covering billing, invoicing, payments, refunds, discounts, proration, and revenue recognition.
- Validate product catalog changes, pricing rules, rate plans, accounting rules, and finance-impacting configurations in Zuora.
- Perform end-to-end testing across Zuora-integrated systems, including e-commerce checkout, order lifecycle, and payment gateways (B2B/B2C).
- Ensure accuracy of billing schedules, invoices, revenue schedules, and month-end close activities.
- Log, track, and triage defects using JIRA/TestRail, working closely with Engineering, Product, and Finance teams.
- Act as the QA point of contact for business stakeholders, clarifying requirements and validating downstream impact.
- Review test coverage, guide junior QA members, and ensure QA best practices and quality standards are followed.
- Provide clear test status, risk assessment, and release sign-off to stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Mandatory: Strong hands-on experience in Zuora QA / Zuora Billing QA
- 6–10 years of experience in manual testing, preferably within subscription billing or SaaS platforms.
- Deep understanding of subscription billing workflows, invoicing, payments, refunds, and revenue recognition.
- Proven experience testing month-end close and finance-critical workflows.
- Strong expertise in test case design, execution, defect logging, tracking, and triage.
- Experience with e-commerce testing (B2B/B2C) integrated with billing systems.
- Proficiency with JIRA, TestRail, and SQL for data validation.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with Finance and Business stakeholders.
- API testing exposure is a plus.
- Prior experience leading or mentoring QA team members is preferred.
