About the Role We are seeking an experienced

Senior Manager – Engineering (Mechanical)

to lead all mechanical and engineering operations for a leading apparel manufacturing facility. This is a

strategic leadership role

for professionals passionate about optimizing plant performance, implementing innovative engineering solutions, and driving operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Lead and oversee

mechanical and engineering operations

across the facility, ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance. Manage

preventive and breakdown maintenance

of all machinery, utilities (boilers, HVAC, DG, compressors), and plant infrastructure. Collaborate with production and quality teams to

maximize uptime and optimize operations . Drive

continuous improvement initiatives , including LEAN, TPM, and energy efficiency programs. Mentor, develop, and lead a

team of engineers and technicians , fostering a high-performance culture. Ensure compliance with

safety, environmental, and statutory regulations . Plan and manage

CAPEX for machinery and plant upgrades .

Candidate Profile Education:

Bachelor’s/Master’s in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. Experience:

12–18 years in engineering/maintenance roles within

apparel, textile, or manufacturing industries , with at least 5 years in a

leadership role . Strong knowledge of

mechanical systems, utilities, and plant operations . Proven track record in

team management, project execution, and process improvement . Excellent

problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills .
