Design Engineer

Company Description TAARK ELECTRIC VEHICLES & EQUIPMENTS PVT LTD specializes in manufacturing battery-operated electric vehicles designed for in-campus applications. These vehicles serve industries such as brick manufacturing, textiles, bleaching, fireworks, cement, agro products, poultry, and farms, aiding in material transportation within their premises. Additionally, the company produces the TAARK_GLADIA, an on-road commercial L5 electric vehicle, aligning with its mission to provide efficient and sustainable transportation solutions.

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Design Engineer role based in Kinathukadavu, Coimbatore. The Design Engineer will be responsible for creating and optimizing designs for electric vehicles, ensuring functional, efficient, and reliable outcomes. Daily tasks include utilizing computer-aided design (CAD) software for product development, Drafting, collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams, and applying knowledge in mechanical and electrical engineering to improve vehicle performance and address design challenges.

Qualifications Proficient in Design Engineering and Product Design Strong understanding of Mechanical Engineering concepts and principles Experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools and software Knowledge of Electrical Engineering and its application in electric vehicles Problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field Prior experience in electric vehicle design or manufacturing is an added advantage
