Role Summary
Factual Holding Co is building a commercial-grade AI video orchestration platform designed for high-spend DTC brands, creative strategists, and performance marketing teams operating in volatile ad environments. The product is not a consumer SaaS tool or a “gen-1 AI wrapper,” but an enterprise-oriented creative manufacturing system that automates strategy-to-asset pipelines at scale, replacing fragmented workflows and manual editing loops.
The Full-Stack Engineer will own end-to-end product execution across frontend, backend, and AI-integrated workflows, with a strong bias toward systems thinking, reliability, and orchestration over surface-level UI features.
This role is critical to building infrastructure that enables:
High-volume creative variation generation
Directed AI workflows (not black-box generation)
Enterprise-grade reliability, transparency, and trust
Core Responsibilities
Platform Architecture & Engineering
Design and implement full-stack architecture for an AI-driven video orchestration platform that connects research, scripting, asset generation, assembly, and iteration into a single system
Build scalable backend systems to support high-volume creative testing workflows (100+ variants per concept) without performance degradation
Ensure modular, extensible architecture that supports future expansion into deployment, analytics, and feedback loops
Frontend Development
Develop intuitive, low-cognitive-load interfaces that replace traditional timeline-based editing complexity with guardrail-driven orchestration flows, optimized for non-technical but high-stakes users
Implement UI patterns that allow users to define creative strategy inputs (angles, hooks, formats) while abstracting execution complexity
Backend & Systems Engineering
Build APIs and services that manage creative input schemas (angles, briefs, constraints), asset generation pipelines, variant orchestration logic, and versioning and reproducibility
Ensure deterministic behavior where required to avoid the “inconsistent output” failure common in gen-1 AI tools
AI & Media Pipeline Integration
Integrate and orchestrate AI components across script and copy generation, visual asset generation, and avatar-based or voice-based video assembly (where applicable)
Focus on directed AI execution, not prompt-spam or template layering
Quality, Trust, and Commercial Readiness
Implement transparent system behaviors that support enterprise trust: predictable billing logic, observable outputs, and clear failure states
Enforce output quality standards to avoid generic, templated, or uncanny valley results that damage brand credibility
Required Qualifications
Technical Skills
Strong experience as a Full-Stack Engineer with frontend and backend ownership
Proficiency with modern frontend frameworks such as React or equivalent
Backend experience with scalable APIs, job queues, and async processing
Experience integrating AI/ML or media pipelines such as LLMs, image or video generation systems
Solid understanding of system design, performance optimization, and reliability
Product & Systems Thinking
Ability to reason in workflows and systems, not just features
Comfort building infrastructure for users operating under time pressure, volatility, and high financial stakes
Strong judgment around abstraction boundaries and orchestration logic
Mindset Fit
High intolerance for fragile, gimmicky, or deceptive SaaS patterns
Bias toward clarity, determinism, and maintainability
Comfortable working in a high-ownership environment with minimal hand-holding
Preferred Experience
Experience building B2B SaaS platforms used by revenue-critical teams
Familiarity with ad-tech, creative tooling, or performance marketing workflows
Experience designing systems that replace fragmented toolchains with unified platforms
