Financial Planning Analyst

We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented finance professional to join our FP&A team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in business planning, MIS reporting, financial analysis, and industry benchmarking within the General Insurance sector. Key Responsibilities 1. Monthly Business MIS Prepare and present accurate monthly MIS reports. Analyze financial performance and key business metrics. Highlight actionable insights for senior management. 2. Industry Benchmarking Conduct industry research and performance benchmarking. Compare company performance against industry standards. Identify improvement opportunities and strategic insights. 3. Annual Business Planning Support Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling. Support the Manager – FP&A in preparing the annual business plan. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with company goals. 4. Collaboration with Accounts Team Work closely with the Accounts team to ensure financial data accuracy. Support reconciliations and ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls. 5. Financial Accuracy & Variance Analysis Validate financial reports and perform detailed checks. Conduct variance analysis and identify discrepancies. Recommend and monitor corrective actions. 6. Strategic Financial Analysis Provide insightful financial analysis to support business strategy and decision-making. ✅ Key Requirements

CA / MBA (Finance) / PG (Finance) / Finance Graduate. 2–5 years of relevant experience (preferably in General Insurance sector). Strong understanding of financial accounting principles, MIS reporting, and business planning. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, MS Access, and financial modelling tools. Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
