About the Role

We are looking for an Infrastructure Engineer who is eager to upskill and grow across a broad range of infrastructure and cloud domains.

This role is ideal for someone who has a solid foundation in cloud and systems administration and wants hands-on exposure to real-world enterprise environments.

You will work closely with senior engineers on non-production and production systems, supporting, operating, and gradually owning parts of modern infrastructure spanning cloud, identity, networking, observability, and automation.

Familiarity with either Azure or AWS is mandatory, and the expectation is that you will operationally support at least 2–3 core infrastructure domains as part of your growth path.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate and support cloud infrastructure in Azure and/or AWS - Assist in deploying and managing: - Active Directory forests, Domain Controllers, and identity services - Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and/or AWS WorkSpaces - Support DNS services (internal vs public DNS, records, troubleshooting) - Perform server and OS patching, upgrades, and health checks - Assist with monitoring and observability using tools such as: - Azure Monitor / Log Analytics - Microsoft Sentinel - Splunk (basic to intermediate level) - Participate in incident response, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis - Contribute to automation efforts using PowerShell, Bash, or cloud-native tools - Create and maintain clear technical documentation and runbooks - Participate in mock consultations, architecture walkthroughs, and reviews - Follow security, compliance, and least-privilege best practices

Required Skills & Experience

- 2+ years of experience in Infrastructure, Cloud, or Systems Engineering - Hands-on experience with Azure or AWS (at least one is mandatory) - Working knowledge of: - Windows Server & Domain Controllers - Active Directory fundamentals (users, groups, GPOs) - Basic understanding of: - Networking concepts (VNET/VPC, subnets, routing, NSGs/Security Groups) - DNS (internal vs external resolution) - Exposure to monitoring/logging tools (Sentinel, Splunk, or equivalents) - Experience with PowerShell, Bash, or basic scripting - Strong troubleshooting mindset and willingness to learn - Good written documentation and communication skills

Preferred / Nice to Have

- Exposure to AVD, AWS WorkSpaces, or VDI concepts - Familiarity with automation tools (Azure Automation, Logic Apps, Terraform, etc.) - Understanding of security fundamentals (IAM, RBAC, least privilege) - Experience working in non-production / dev tenants for testing and validation

Assessment Period

- 2-week paid assessment - Compensation: ₹400/hour - Evaluation will include: - Standing up AD forests and Domain Controllers - Basic cloud infrastructure setup (Azure/AWS) - Configuring observability and monitoring solutions - Automation tasks and scripting exercises - Mock consultations and documentation reviews - All work will be performed in non-production environments within a dev tenant
