(Recruitment & People Operations)

Location: Mumbai (Travel as required – PAN India)
Experience: 3–6 Years (flexible for the right candidate)
Reporting To: Founder / Leadership Team
Role Overview
We are looking for a hands-on HR professional to independently manage end-to-end recruitment and HR operations, with a primary focus on scaling the BLook vertical.
Approximately 80% of the role will focus on BLook hiring (sales-driven and field-oriented roles), while 20% will support MarketMen hiring, subject to evolving business requirements.
This is an independent ownership role, not a support function.
Key Responsibilities1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition (Primary Responsibility)
- End-to-end recruitment for Sales Executives, Team Leaders, Managers, and Support Roles
- Primary focus on BLook hiring (~80%)
- Secondary hiring for MarketMen (~20%)
- Sourcing through:
- Job portals (Naukri, Indeed, LinkedIn, Internshala, etc.)
- Internal databases & employee referrals
- Campus recruitment & placement drives
- Screening, interviewing, coordination, offer rollout & joining
- Ability to close immediate joiners and manage bulk hiring
2. Campus Recruitment & PAN India Hiring
- Plan and execute campus recruitment initiatives
- Liaise with colleges, training institutes & placement officers
- Willingness to travel PAN India for:
- Campus interviews
- Regional sales team hiring
- Expansion-related recruitment drives
3. Performance Metrics & Recruitment Targets
- This role carries defined recruitment delivery targets, aligned with business expansion plans
- Performance will be evaluated based on:
- Timely closures (TAT adherence)
- Quality of hires
- Retention metrics
- Hiring source effectiveness
- Targets will be role-based and realistic, not volume-only
4. Training, Performance & Employee Development
- Coordinate induction & training programs
- Support leadership in defining:
- KRAs & KPIs
- Performance review frameworks
- Track attendance, productivity & discipline
- Support confirmations, PIPs, exits, and replacements
5. Employee Lifecycle & HR Operations
- Complete ownership of:
- Hiring
- Onboarding
- Confirmation
- Performance reviews
- Termination & exits
- Draft and manage:
- Offer & appointment letters
- HR policies
- Exit documentation
6. Payroll, Admin & HR Compliance
- Monthly payroll coordination
- Attendance & leave management
- HR MIS & reporting
- Coordination with accounts for:
- Salaries
- Incentives & commissions (especially sales teams)
- Support statutory compliance and audits as applicable
7. HR Governance & Culture
- Handle employee grievances & escalations
- Ensure adherence to company policies
- Maintain confidentiality & data integrity
- Act as a bridge between management and employees
Desired Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in sales hiring / bulk hiring
- Exposure to campus recruitment
- Comfortable handling end-to-end HR independently
- Willing to travel when required
- Startup / scale-up mindset
- Strong communication, follow-ups & execution skills
- Knowledge of payroll & HR operations is mandatory
