Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant who can manage financial records with accuracy and discipline. This role requires strong knowledge of accounting principles, compliance, and financial reporting. The candidate will work closely with internal teams to ensure financial transactions are recorded correctly, statutory requirements are met, and financial insights support business decisions. Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate records of financial transactions, including invoices, payments, receipts, and journal entries Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow activities Manage GST filings, TDS returns, and other statutory compliance requirements Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities Ensure proper documentation and audit readiness for financial records Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and internal stakeholders when required Monitor expenses and identify opportunities for cost control and efficiency Maintain financial data integrity within accounting systems Required Skills and Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (B.Com / M.Com preferred) 3–6 years of professional accounting experience Strong understanding of Indian accounting standards, GST, and tax regulations Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, Zoho Books, or similar platforms Advanced knowledge of MS Excel for financial analysis and reporting High attention to detail with strong analytical skills Ability to manage multiple financial tasks while maintaining accuracy Strong communication and documentation skills Preferred Qualifications Experience handling audits and financial compliance processes Familiarity with ERP systems and financial reporting tools Experience working with growing companies or consulting firms What This Role Offers Exposure to diverse financial operations and business functions Opportunity to work closely with leadership on financial planning and reporting A dynamic environment where financial discipline directly supports business growth
