About the Role We’re looking for a

Long-Format Fiction Writer (Crime)

who understands how to build tension, layer characters, and keep readers leaning into the next episode. You’ll build crime stories designed to unfold episode by episode, tightly structured, character-driven, and immersive enough to keep listeners coming back.

If you understand pacing, stakes, and the psychology behind a good twist, you’ll fit right in.

What You’ll Work On Writing long-form, serialized crime stories Building strong season arcs with clear narrative progression Creating layered protagonists and credible antagonists Designing chapter endings that make listeners want “just one more\" Grounding your stories in authentic crime elements, investigative detail, legal tension, or psychological depth Collaborating with editorial and production teams to refine structure and impact

What We’re Looking For Experience writing crime, thriller, mystery, or suspense fiction Strong understanding of US storytelling sensibilities Confidence in structuring long narratives without losing momentum Sharp, natural dialogue that works well in audio A writer who can balance creativity with consistency and deadlines
