Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Business Analyst role located in Mumbai. The Business Analyst will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements, developing business strategies, and evaluating business processes to identify areas for improvement. The role involves communicating with stakeholders to understand their needs, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and providing data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making and operational efficiency.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Business Analyst with 1+ year of experience in a technology-driven environment who can effectively gather, analyze, and document business requirements. The ideal candidate should be presentable, articulate, and comfortable interacting with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities • Understand business requirements and convert them into clear functional and technical documentation • Conduct requirement gathering sessions with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams • Prepare BRD, FRD, user stories, use cases, and process flows • Act as a bridge between business users and technical teams • Assist in UAT planning, execution, and defect tracking • Support project managers in scope definition, timelines, and change requests • Ensure requirements traceability throughout the project lifecycle • Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and requirement walkthroughs

Required Skills & Qualifications • 1+ year of experience as a Business Analyst in a technology / IT firm • Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, or Scrum methodologies • Ability to analyze business problems and propose structured solutions • Good exposure to web/mobile applications, SaaS platforms, or enterprise systems • Proficiency in documentation tools (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Jira, Confluence, etc.) • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Presentable personality with confidence in client interactions

Preferred (Good to Have) • Experience working with developers, QA, and product teams • Basic understanding of APIs, databases, or system integrations • Exposure to stakeholder management or client-facing roles • Certifications in Business Analysis or Agile (optional)
