Designer - Millwork

Position Summary We are seeking a highly skilled

Designer/ Sr. Designer

with expertise in the

Furniture and Millwork domain , proficient in

AutoCAD Drafting/Detailing

and familiar with advanced design tools. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing detailed designs, 3D models, and technical documentation for joinery and furniture manufacturing projects. The role requires strong knowledge of

design methodology, new product development, and manufacturing processes , with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

Key Responsibilities Prepare accurate

2D drafting and detailing

using AutoCAD and develop

3D models

for furniture and joinery projects. Work on

millwork and joinery design , ensuring adherence to manufacturing standards and processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop

new product designs

and improve existing ones. Utilize design software such as

SWood-SolidWorks, Cabinet Vision, 2020 Design (Kitchen Cabinet), Microvellum, imos-iX, and HOMAG iX

to produce detailed design outputs. Support

project documentation , including drawings, BOMs, and specifications. Apply

quality tools

to ensure accuracy and compliance with design standards. Actively contribute to

project planning, team communication, and coordination

with stakeholders. Maintain effective

verbal and written communication

with team members and clients.

Qualifications & Experience Education : Diploma or B.E. in Mechanical Engineering. Experience : 2-10 years in

furniture/millwork design, drafting, and detailing . Technical Skills : Proficiency in

AutoCAD (2D & 3D) . Hands-on experience with

SWood-SolidWorks, Cabinet Vision, 2020 Design, Microvellum, imos-iX, HOMAG iX . Strong understanding of

joinery techniques, design methodology, and new product development
