What success looks like in this role (12 months)

Some examples: Reduce monthly churn by X% Increase active learning hours / active days by X% Reduce silent drop-offs by X% via WhatsApp, calls, nudges, peer groups Cut backlog accumulation by X% through milestone pacing & recovery playbooks Build and run a Retention Ops team Improve student experience and NPS by X points

What you will own

A predictive retention system using LMS data (logins, velocity, accuracy, AI interview signals) A high-intensity engagement engine with clear weekly KPIs Behavioral recovery journeys for backlogs, exam slowdowns, confidence dips Retention fixes with Curriculum & Product (reduce friction, protect streaks) Parent & student trust via clear communication and visible progress dashboards

Who this is for

5–10 years in retention, student success, lifecycle ops, or high-touch consumer roles Has scaled call ops / success teams and moved churn numbers Data-driven with strong behavioural intuition Understands why Indian students drop off — and how to pull them back Edtech experience helps. The execution mindset is mandatory.
