Role Overview Tectra Technologies is hiring an experienced React Native Mobile App Developer to take ownership of our mobile applications across Elderly Wellness and Mothrly, along with future digital care platforms.

This is a full-time, on-site engineering role. Candidates must be comfortable working from our Chennai office and collaborating closely with product, design, backend, and operations teams on a day-to-day basis.

You will work on live, production-grade applications, handling feature development, performance optimisation, and end-to-end deployment on both iOS and Android.

Key Responsibilities Mobile Application Development - Design, develop, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native - Build new features aligned with product and business requirements - Maintain scalable and maintainable mobile architecture

Code Quality & Engineering Standards - Write clean, modular, and well-documented code - Follow best practices for performance, security, and maintainability - Participate in and conduct code reviews - Maintain consistent coding standards across projects

Maintenance, Bug Fixing & Performance - Diagnose and resolve production issues and crashes - Optimise application performance, responsiveness, and memory usage - Handle version upgrades, dependency updates, and refactoring

Collaboration (On-site) - Work closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, and backend engineers - Translate requirements and designs into stable, high-quality mobile features

Testing & Reliability - Write and maintain unit and integration tests - Support QA cycles and ensure release stability

Deployment & Release Management - Own the end-to-end deployment process for Apple App Store and Google Play Store - Manage certificates, provisioning profiles, app signing, and release cycles - Handle app updates, rollbacks, and store compliance

Cloud & Backend Integration - Integrate mobile applications with backend services hosted on AWS and Microsoft Azure - Work with authentication, APIs, push notifications, and analytics services

Continuous Improvement - Stay updated with React Native ecosystem changes - Evaluate tools and libraries to improve performance and developer efficiency

Required Skills & Qualifications Experience - 3–5 years of professional mobile application development experience - Strong, hands-on experience with React Native in production environments

Technical Skills - Proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript - Strong understanding of React, React Native, and component architecture - Experience with state management: Redux / Context API / MobX - Familiarity with Xcode and Android Studio - Understanding of RESTful APIs and third-party integrations - Knowledge of mobile architecture patterns (MVVM, MVC) - Strong debugging and performance optimisation skills

Deployment & Infrastructure - Proven experience publishing apps to Apple App Store and Google Play Store - Working knowledge of cloud platforms: AWS and/or Microsoft Azure - Experience with CI/CD pipelines for mobile builds is a plus

Professional Skills - Strong problem-solving ability - Ownership mindset and accountability - Clear communication and team collaboration - Willingness to work on-site in Chennai

Preferred / Bonus Qualifications - Experience with native iOS or Android development (Swift, Kotlin, Java) - Familiarity with tools like Fastlane, App Center, or Jenkins - Prior experience in healthcare, elder care, or service-based platforms - Live apps published on App Store or Play Store
